Hello and welcome to the webpage for St. Katharine Drexel Parish in the Roxbury and Dorchester neighborhoods in the City of Boston.  I am Fr. Oscar Pratt, the Administrator of this vibrant and faith-filled parish family.

We are a Black Catholic Community of believers celebrating and rejoicing in the love of God.

Our designation as a Black Catholic Community references our cultural and stylistic manner of worship.  We celebrate and build up this portion of God's kingdom, both liturgically and in our intentional social justice outreach.

As a Black Catholic Parish, we are not exclusionary or discriminatory towards anyone.  Indeed, all are welcome to join us in our quest to create a village of faith, a village of hope, and a village of love.  All are invited to join us at the welcome table where we are fed with the Body and Blood of Christ, where we are nourished and challenged to build up what Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. referred to as  the Beloved Community.

If you live in the greater Boston area or are visiting our historic city, please visit us and share with us in the celebration of the Eucharist, where the grace, the  love and the mercy of God, makes us one in Jesus Christ.

Thank you for your attention to this message and God  bless you.
